Came here during a late night during our trip to Portland. A little hidden but we loved it! Great food, great ambiance for a late date night, delicious, unique and STRONG drinks and amazing service. I honestly think about this bar often and will definitely be coming back whenever I go to Portland again.

Bookmarked for years and I can see why it's a local favorite. I am putting 4 start since it is on the pricier side of things (worth it) but not a place I would frequent often. It's unassuming on the outside and gives off a speakeasy type of vibe since they don't have a large sign outside and as you enter you go down stairs to a hallway where you check in. It's actually smaller than I anticipated but love the vibe with the wallpaper, dim lighting, and lighting at the bar. We were lucky coming in on a Thursday evening without a reservation and being able to nab bar seating as we walked in. Otherwise it seemed there was a bit of a wait (so would recommend having a reservation). I really enjoy bar seating since I can see the chefs in action and as you check out the menu be sure to ask the specials for the night. We got a mix of the - Arancini - Delicata Squash - Parpardelle with candied duck - Drinks (riding on the metro, pandan old fashioned, like a love song) The fave of the night for me was the parpardelle because when do you ever really see pasta with seaweed butter!? The pasta was fresh and had a nice texture that soaked up all the umami sauce. Initially I thought it wouldn't be filling seeing the portions to other tables but it's super rich. The second fave would be the squash (def get it)! Arancini was good but would opt to try something else next time. Try to order sooner since service was a little slower for the food. All the drinks were also well made and had great infused flavors. Would get all of the flavors again and the ice cubes with their logo. Ace!

Super cute and moody speakeasy--perfect for a date or a night out with friends! Pro tip: make a reservation on Resy to guarantee a table, though we've only sat at the bar, which is still a great spot. The food is absolutely fabulous! We've tried nearly everything on the menu, and a couple of standouts are the pappardelle (definitely a favorite) and the duck--a must-add to the dish. If we're just grabbing drinks and snacks, the pickle fries are a go-to. The portion size definitely surprised me but I'm not complaining! Their scotch selection--it's endless. They also have a killer cocktail menu. Every drink we tried was spot-on. We'll definitely be back for more!

Cool little place in downtown Portland. Very difficult to get a reservation in as it gets full fast. Large variety of drinks and lot of snack options. Oyster's are delicious. So does most of the items in the list. Do try this place out for some relaxing night out

Scotch Lodge is the perfect place to have tasty holiday cocktails and bites. The bar room is darkly lit and moody like an old fashioned festive speakeasy. Service was friendly and knowledgable. The menu was everything you could want to go along side their tasty Scotch cocktails. I highly recommend the Oysters and the arancini but every dish we had was really good.

Dropped in without a reservation so we were only able to have a drink and bail, but COOL place. Really loved both drinks we ordered and the bartender was friendly and helpful. The place is small, but cozy, and even packed with people it had a nice vibe. Wasn't able to try food, so vibe and drink get the five, but I'll be back for food!

What a cool place! The decor is top tier and I'd like to take a moment to discuss the extensive options of whiskey. Totally the holy grail of whiskey bars. I was impressed the options go on and on. These mixologists were top tier and super friendly. If this place isn't a Portland attraction, it should be. We didn't eat so I cannot speak for the food. However what I was seeing at other tables looked very appetizing. It was my friends birthday and the mixologist came up with a cake so she would have something to blow out. Big shout out to him! I highly recommend and know when ever I'm in Portland again I will most certainly stop by!

We are here in April 2024 for a birthday. This place has great ambience from the moment you step in and descend the stairs down to the hostess podium. It was lively but the seating arrangement allows for ease of conversations if you are at a table surrounded by the booth. We ate the Dashi Arabcini, the Soft Shell Crab sandwich and the Pappardelle. You'll want to share to get a taste of everything . Three plates was a bit too much for us with the two drinks we ordered each and I ended up taking half the Sando home. The duck Caesar was Amazing - Fiancé who doesn't consider salad "food" loved it. The duck is seasoned and cooked to perfection and the salad was refreshing with just enough (not too much dill) !! The Dashi was good but the star of the show for me food wise was the soft shell crab sandwich- definitely try it. The bread was amazing, the battered crab was delicious and it is pretty filling. For drinks we had the Painkiller (couldn't turn down purple drank), Lotus Espirit, and one Smokey (literally) whiskey drink for the birthday boy & oh boy was that delicious .
